Our Program 

Day1- Hadibu-Ayhaft  

Arrive Socotra Airport around 2pm where you will be welcomed by our tour guide and 4*4WD drivers, short 12km drive to Hadibu Capital city for hotel check in followed by lunch in a local restaurant and a visit to Wadi Ayhaft surrounded by hajher mountains and different endemic species of trees overnight in hadibu.

Day2 Homhil-Dihamri

the northeast of the island lies the plateau of Homhil. Protected landscape area with many myrrh, frankincense, bottoms and dragon blood trees. Above all, the combination of different tree species, steep slopes with dracens and natural ponds with clear water form an extraordinary image of this landscape. The area is rich in bird species, reptiles, insects and more. At Homhil you can choose many walks for walks. On an inclined slope you will reach an incredible panoramic ocean-view. And you need to walk around 1.5hrs to reach your drivers in the seaside village to continue driving to Dihamri marine protected area, northeast island with natural sea reserve, the underwater paradise offers some of the best diving conditions. The Dihamri Reserve is inhabited by an enormous variety of fish species and magnificent coral reefs. To see this remarkable world, you only need a pair of goggles and snorkel that can be rented.

Day3-  Hoq cave – Arsel  

Breakfast and morning snorkeling in Dihamri, then we drive 30mins to start the hike up to Hoq cave 1.5hrs to the entrance the cave is 3kms inside and requires head torch and prober shoes because some parts of the cave is wet, after that we head towards Arher where the monumental sand dunes and the clear river flowing from the mountains illustrate the uniqueness of the area. A magical place for camping, rest or a more challenging climb to one of the dunes. The view from the top of the coast is breathtaking.

Day4-  Arsel – Dixam

Dixam is In the central part of the island you suddenly find yourself in prehistoric times. Plateau and canyons with unique endemic dragon blood trees (Dracena). The endless play of shadows and colors in the setting sun portrays bizarre images that are hard to believe. Swimming in a rocky pool in the valley is a reward for a stroll along the stony path of an incredible landscape. Camp in wadi dirhur

 

Day5- firmhin – Noged – hadibu

After breakfast in wadi dirhur you will visit the forest of dragoon blood trees in Firmhin, and then return to wadi dirhur to continue driving to the southern part of the island to Digub cave for a lunch break inside the cave, afternoon we visit Aomak – Noged – Zahek – the most remote area and the longest beach on the south coast overlooking the Indian Ocean. A quiet place lined with long beaches with snow-white sand invites you to relax or explore the nearby villages. Enjoy unique moments near the oasis of palm trees where the desert stretches along the ocean coast, there is an incredible scenery of sand dunes for photographers, then return to Hadibu from the old road for overnight in hotel.    

Day6- Qalansea (Ditwah lagoon)

Clearly the most impressive place and beach of the island, walk around the lagoon you can hike the front mountain to gain full panoramic view of the area.  We camp near the lagoon in order to take early morning boat trip to shuab beach.

 

Day7- Shuab beach (boat trip)

Boating from Qualansia village takes an hour to an isolated and incredible location, the sandy Shoab beach with turquoise sea color. The monumental mountain massive and the remoteness of the beach guarantee peace and a unique atmosphere. You can snorkel if you are lucky to see turtles , flocks of dolphins and rare species of birds and crystal clear water all the way.Afternoon retun to Qalansia to meet the drivers and drive to Hadibu for overnight.
